Roberts And Burling have been roofing specialists since 1937. For many years there was a contracting service to compliment the merchant business. In 1998 the contracting division was sold off when the company was acquired by SIG Roofing Supplies Group (SIG). SIG are market leaders in the provision of Roofing materials to the construction industry, who in turn are part of SIG plc.
In 2002 a showroom was built above the warehouse. This facility allows contractors and members of the public to see a range of samples on display, from tiles to rainwater products. Adding value to this service and the business as a whole, many of the Roberts and Burling staff have won long service awards, which by definition makes the company one of the most knowledgeable roofing specialists in the industry.
